The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the holistic DIR philosophy of diving. The course focuses on the fundamental components of the the DIR approach, namely a simple, streamlined and efficient equipment configuration; proper pre-dive planning and preparation; proper buoyancy, balance and trim; efficient propulsion techniques; unified team diving strategies and situational awareness; proficiency in critical skill management and fun.
