CLUB MEETING:
We’re having a very special speaker from PADI headquarters, Kristen; she’s the director of Project AWARE Foundation. (Aquatic World Awareness Reasonability and Education). The topic of her presentation will be on International Beach Clean Up Day on September 20th, (We’ll be cleaning up Venice Beach) and also talking about Project AWARE foundation. Come Join us, we’ll be havin PIZZA!
Location: Ocean Adventures 1915 Lincoln Blvd Venice CA at 7PM
When: September 2nd 7pm

BEACH PARTY:
All are invited to participate in International Beach Clean Up Day on September 20th North side of Venice Pier at 11AM. We’ll have Scuba tanks available (free) and a BBQ with drinks. Call or just show up, you must register on site to receive your package.
We’ll also be having a photo shoot for the Undersea Journal, published quarterly by PADI. The clean up is on the beach(land) or on Scuba (underwater). If you chose to be a Scuba cleaner you must be at least a Rescue Diver due to beach conditions.
All participants receive a certificate of participation. Also, don’t forget your gear, towel, beach umbrella and cert card. We’ll be serving hotdogs(veggie too) and sodas. Hope you can make to this world event.

CAMPING TRIP:
Ocean Adventures will be having our 3rd annual Scuba Camping Trip. All invited!
You’ll need a tent, sleeping bag, marshmallows, etc.
Our OA Club president (Philippe) will be notifying all to location and time.(mid October).

We have a new shop tech/instructor member from the Philippines his name is Zac Araneta, he has tons of experience with 250 diver certifications under his belt. Zac will soon be a master instructor. We are also very proud to announce that we have two new part time instructors, George and Beth.

We are proud to announce that we are DUI dealers (Divers Unlimited International) come by, pick a catalog and check out some of the top rated BCD’s and dry suits.

NIGHT DIVES:
We have a consistent number of divers diving every Wednesday night. The meeting place is at Ocean Adventures around 6:30pm on Wednesdays. Come by and join and receive a free tank rental and free-guided dive, for more information call Philippe at
