What Can I Expect?
Relive the fun of summer camp as an adult during the Ocean Adventures Scuba Weekend November 13 -15, at Camp Emerald Bay in Two Harbors on Catalina Island!
You get to sleep in a cabin, eat in the dining hall and enjoy three days of unlimited shore diving! Spontaneous campfire sing-a-longs may occur.
On Friday, November 13 we board the Catalina Express in San Pedro and upon arrival in Two Harbors, Camp Emerald Bay will transport campers and their gear from the port.
One you get your cabin assignment and gear stowed, start diving! When you aren’t under the water you can swim, hike, Stand Up Paddle board, kayak or just relax on the beach.
Camp Emerald Bay kitchen staff serves up three meals* each day and stocks an all day snack and soup bar! Campers are welcome to bring their own snacks and refreshments, or purchase them from the camp general store.
For an additional fee, a dive boat will available for day and night single tank dives to nearby sites such as Blue Cavern, Ship Rock and Eagle Reef. We will be at camp during lobster season, so bring your license and take a short ride on the boat to one of many great hunting spots!
Want to improve your skills? This would be a great weekend to add night, deep diver or any other specialty certifications. Ocean Adventures Staff Instructors will be diving and are happy to help!
Having trouble getting your permission slip signed? Non-diver campers are welcome too! There is great snorkeling, hiking, swimming, Stand Up Paddle boarding, kayaking and more!
